About

About the artist

Hello, I’m Nox! I’m a Black trans masc non-binary artist based in Southern Connecticut, USA. I’m a practicing mage and astrologer and I’ve been studying and working my artistic and spiritual crafts for over half my life. My experience with in Hoodoo, traditional and modern astro magic, and divination has greatly influenced my work and I absolutely love marking the milestones I’ve gone through by working with crystals and creating beautiful pieces from these semi-precious stones. I’ve always had a unique sense of style that leans more towards dark and alternative, but I like leaning into a more high fantasy aesthetic at times!
One of the main reasons I started building WrapArtistGems from the ground up is because I felt a calling to share my artistic vision and energetic gifts with the world. It brings me a lot of joy seeing who each of my pieces get paired with.

My Process

Many of the pieces that I wear every day were created for a specific intent. Some were made for protection, some to honor great spirits, and some were made for astrological remediation. However, most of them are just really hot accessories to help me feel more confident. The point is, most of my pieces were made in very unique ways but all were made with a touch of intuition.

The stones and color palates I use are chosen based on a mix of energetic associations and whatever theme and concept I’ve decided to play with at the time.
